A raw silk, multicolored gingham bowtie. At 45 bucks, this is a great buy for Spring/Summer.
I really like the look of raw silk ties/bowties, but I don't think I could or would own more than one or two of them, since each one is so distinct and unique. Anyways, here are a few J. Press ties to get you looking forward to Spring/Summer (as if anyone really needed that with all the cold rain/snow almost everyone's had lately).

(apparently this is raw silk too, but I'm skeptical. It would be awesome though)
Ellie at The Cordial Churchman should make a few up.

I like that last one a lot.
My problem with the others is the mix of colors: there are just too many. Black and brown just don't go together, and some of the other colors clash, too. Even so, they're really nice, and I would love to have some nice raw silk ties.
Delicious combinations...yin & yang... I have become a nut for bowties after re-discovering them on the necks of 'stewards of style'(MOREHOUSE COLLEGE (Atlanta, GA) while doing undergraduate work. I can tell you, there are probably no more vintage bowties left in any store in Georgia since the brightest, bravest, and the 'baddest' re-discovered them as I did.
